10 Things We Loved/Missed out on at SXSW

SXSW 2016 just concluded and we were in attendance. It was a whirlwind adventure that we always love, hate, fall asleep at, stay awake for 24 hours, etc. Here are 10 things we loved/missed out on at SXSW 2016.

Ryan Adams

A forever-personal favorite. Not much needs to be said besides the fact that this was a must see. Best believe we enjoyed ourselves to the fullest extent.

Fader Fort

The Fader Fort behemoth continued with (major) key shows from Drake and a LSTN favorite Metro Boomin.

VR

Virtual Reality was on full display. We love VR. We also loved Run the Jewels and their VR music video. Watch it below, have your VR set up ready to go.

Ra Ra Riot

Astronauts

Food!

From breakfast tacos to BBQ. Besides the music and the whiskey, this was the main attraction for us. Food on food on food.

Local Side Shows + Street Performers

From Barcelona to the street performers up and down the Austin streets, there was much party to be had thanks to all the amazing local acts in Austin. This can easily be one of the highlights during the weeklong extravaganza in Texas.

POTUS

The President asked the audience to take their ideas and talents to make technology work for the greater good. POTUS highlighted tackling big challenges like increasing participation in the political process and fighting climate change.

Miguel at the Spotify House + All Things at the Spotify House

With acts like Miguel, Jack Garratt, BADBADNOTGOOD, Hannibal Burress and more, what's not to love about the Spotify House?

Pitchfork Showcase

The lineup features Neon Indian, Vince Staples, Chairlift, Anderson .Paak and the Free Nationals, Porches, Teklife with the Era Dancers, Stormzy and stand out Kevin Morby.
