In Los Angeles’ thriving music industry, one company stands out

Oak Street magazine is one of the top publications for self-starters, entrepreneurs, and creative professionals. With their latest issue focusing on Los Angeles, they asked Bridget Hilton to speak about her background, and the challenges she overcame when starting LSTN in LA's crowded entrepreneurial scene.

"Music has been my biggest passion and I thought that music and charity was a natural combination. We started the company to change the world through the power of music...Our product sounds good, looks good, does good."

Bridget shares what she learned over the course of founding LSTN, transitioning from the music business, and the specific awesome things about being an entrepreneur in Los Angeles. From LSTN's first trip with Starkey Hearing Foundation (Peru 2013!) to the importance of being involved in the local community, there's more information here that you can shake a stick at. Read more in the latest issue of Oak Street, on newsstands now, and check out the full feature on Bridget here.

"...don’t be afraid to fail. Just get started. And be authentic. Having a cause you believe in is good for business, good for company morale, and good for personal reasons."
